The Blue Ridge Parkway, a National Scenic Byway and America's Favorite Drive, is one of the most visited sections of the National Park System. Abundant hiking trails and one of the world's most diverse displays of flora and fauna make the Parkway a road traveler's destination. Stay on the Parkway at Peaks of Otter Lodge located at mile 86. Overnight guests can also take advantage of our electric vehicle charger - one of the few on this stretch of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Heading north on the Parkway you'll connect with Skyline Drive, another designated National Scenic Byway. All along this 105-mile stretch through Shenandoah National Park are opportunities to pull off the road at 75 scenic overlooks. And no Shenandoah experience is complete without a stay in the park at Lewis Mountain Cabins, Big Meadows Lodge or Skyland. Spend a little time and take part in an array of recreational activities - from hiking, horseback riding, and rock climbing to astronomy and culinary events!
